|
| Not all exchanges in the UK support
Broadband - currently between 1,000 and 2,000 exchanges
have been activated which covers aproximately 80% of
the UK population. This does leave almost 2,500 exchanges
which are not yet enabled in the more "rural" areas
of the UK. |
| |
| BT will upgrade these exchanges
- provided there is enough demand in the area. To help
your local exchange to be enabled - you simply need
to pre-register your interest in ADSL with a Service
Provider. |
| |
| When you pre-register with TOUCHCOMS
we pass the details of your interest in Broadband to
BT and this helps to bring your exchange closer to the
target number of registrations (this normally varies
between 200 and 400 registrations) required. |
| |
| When your exchange reaches the
target number - the Service Providers need to then convert
pre-registrations into confirmed orders and when a certain
percentage of confirmed orders have been converted,
the exchange becomes enabled for ADSL Broadband. |
| |
| TOUCHCOMMS can pre-register
your interest in ADSL Broadband at your local exchange
and help move your exchange towards activation. To do
this simply complete the following form: |
